WILL I EVER SEE PAPA AGAIN? |

Six Years Ago on June 1994After the end of Rey's consulting contract in Amsterdam, Holland, they stayed in Italy for two months. While in Rome, they stayed with their aunt, Emma Sison-Bello and her husband Minister Orestes Bello of the Philippine Embassy to the Holy See. Rey & Marilou attended the papal audience on Wednesdays. The 3 pictures below were taken in June 1994 during the final Wednesday Papal audience before heading back home to California. Rey had touched the Pope's hand during their first audience attendance in May 1994, while Marilou stood frozen staring at the Pope as he rode his mobile across the St. Peter's Square. Rey and Marilou sat across the aisle from each other about two meters in the back of the Vatican auditorium exit. After the papal blessing, the Holy Father greeted the dignitaries and people in wheel chairs. The Holy Father then proceeded to walk up the inclined aisle towards the exit. He shook hands with pilgrims on both side of the aisle. Near the exit, he turned towards Rey's area and shook hands with those at the aisle. The two pictures below shows Rey taking pictures with his right hand and reaching out with his left. |

| Then, the Holy Father walked towards the exit doors. From across the aisle, Marilou in desperation, cried out in POLISH, PAPA, Ja ciebie lubie, Ja ciebie Kocham which means I love you, I like you. - From the exit door, the Holy Father turned around in recognition and walked towards the sound of Marilou's voice. He must have heard the Polish words from a 'lost' Polish pilgrim who should have attended the audience one hour earlier. |

On the left is Mommie Soledad Casaclang-Sison. The eldest couple celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary. |
